“And what you have heard from me… entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” — 2 Timothy 2:2
Throughout May 2026, Mission Ministries Philippines (MMP) witnessed God’s faithfulness as He continued to equip Christian educators, strengthen ministry partnerships, and advance child protection initiatives.

Level 2 Early Childhood Education Seminar
On May 7–9, 2026, MMP conducted its Level 2 Early Childhood Education Seminar for preschool administrators, principals, and master teachers, with 42 participants in attendance. The seminar provided practical and Christ-centered training on vision-driven leadership, instructional leadership, the role of school boards and administrators, and cultivating a culture of generosity. Participants were challenged and equipped to lead their schools with excellence while remaining faithful to God’s calling in early childhood education.
Standing Together for Child Protection

On May 21, 2026, MMP participated in the “Pillars of Protection: A Multisectoral Conference on OSAEC (Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children)” through the invitation of the Philippine Children’s Mission Network (PCMN). The conference brought together organizations committed to safeguarding children and strengthening collaborative efforts against online abuse and exploitation. MMP was honored to sign the conference manifesto, reaffirming its commitment to protecting every child’s God-given dignity and well-being.
Celebrating Faithful Partnerships
On May 22, 2026, MMP was blessed by a surprise visit from longtime ministry partner Teacher Dorrie Ferrer, who traveled from Canada. The fellowship was a joyful opportunity to reflect on God’s faithfulness throughout their years of partnership.

The following week, the MMP team visited Simple Child School and was encouraged to see its continued commitment to Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). The visit also opened the possibility of the school becoming a practicum site for students enrolled in MMP’s Certificate Course in Early Childhood Education.
Featured in this issue is the testimony of Teacher Dorrie Ferrer, Owner and Administrator of Simple Child School in Bagong Silang, Quezon City. As an MMP ministry partner for 26 years, she shares how God has used MMP’s training and partnership to strengthen both her school and her ministry.
