DAP Sunday School (DAP SS)
SBCC Sunday School Seminar

One of the significant new programs of Mission Ministries Philippines (MMP) is the establishment of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) Sunday Schools. This initiative was pioneered by MMP in three churches at the Leto Center in Crame, Quezon City.
Last January 3, 2026, MMP successfully conducted a Sunday School Seminar attended by newly recruited Sunday School teachers. The seminar equipped participants with foundational principles and practical strategies for effective DAP-based children’s ministry.
God willing, MMP plans to sponsor face-to-face DAP Sunday School Seminar using the same model, to further strengthen children’s ministry nationwide. This seminar will be held in the venue where the first DAP Sunday School facilitated by MMP was established, serving as living models of best practice.
CEDNET: Christian Educator’s Network
Two significant activities were conducted in partnership with CEDNET:
a) Generous Students Bible Olympics 2026 – January 16, 2026

MMP, together with Pastors Joseph and Sundie, had the honor of serving as one of the judges during the Generous Students Bible Olympics 2026, held at JCSGO Christian Academy. The event celebrated students’ biblical knowledge, faith, talents, and character development.
Beyond the competition, this meaningful gathering opened doors for new connections, allowing MMP to be introduced to several CEDNET partners who may become future ministry collaborators—strengthening partnerships and expanding our outreach.
b) 9th Annual National Bible Day Celebration – January 26, 2026

Held at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, this nationwide celebration brought together Christian educators and ministry workers from across the country. MMP was generously granted 100 free slots, although 25 participants, including MMP staff, were able to attend. Of these, 20 were MMP teachers, and 7 were blessed to win in games and raffle draws, adding joy, fellowship, and encouragement to the event.
More importantly, this gathering paved the way for strategic partnerships, leading to an invitation for MMP to participate in the Christian Revival Conference / Revival Philippines 2026 – RIG Asia on February 26, 2026. Through this event, MMP will have the opportunity to submit a proposal to Mr. Manny Pacquiao, opening doors for expanded ministry impact and collaboration.
In Partnership with Asian Theological Seminary (ATS)
Certificate Course in Early (Childhood Education ECE)
After much prayer, the 13th Batch of the Certificate Course in Early Childhood Education officially opened on January 10, 2026, and will run until July 31, 2027, with 11 students enrolled this semester.
The first module, Bible Introduction, is being facilitated by Prof. Noli Mendoza of Asian Theological Seminary, grounding students in biblical foundations essential for Christian education. The next module, Spiritual Formation, will be conducted on February 7 and 14, 2026.
ATS Christian Education Summit

On January 31, 2026, MMP had the privilege of presenting its ministry through a PowerPoint presentation and showcasing its educational materials at the ATS Christian Education Summit, themed: “ANCHORED: The Bible as the Foundation of Education for Human Flourishing.”
This significant platform enabled MMP to share its vision, programs, and resources with Christian educators and ministry leaders from various institutions. The engagement fostered meaningful collaboration, strengthened partnerships, and inspired a shared commitment to excellence in faith-based education.
MMP Refresher Course : Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) Seminar
Theme: Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) for Young Children: Strategies for Fostering Emotional Intelligence, Resilience, and Social Skills in Preschoolers
This seminar focused on practical strategies to help preschoolers recognize and manage emotions, build positive relationships, and develop empathy. The training was participated in by 91 teachers and early childhood practitioners on January 24, 2026
Compassion International Philippines

A strategic meeting was held on January 21, 2026 with Compassion International Philippines to explore how MMP’s technology-based reading programs and instructional books can be integrated into their child development initiatives. A follow-up meeting is scheduled for February 25, 2026 to further discuss collaboration opportunities.
MMP Board – Annual Board Meeting

MMP held its Annual Board Meeting on January 30, 2026, at the MMP Office to review the ministry’s performance, evaluate strategic directions, and finalize plans for 2026.

Finally, let us give a big round of applause to our amazing MMP teachers who passed the Teachers Licensure Examination last September 21, 2025, with results released in December 2025. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement! We celebrate your hard work, faith, and perseverance. Well done!
